Welcome to the Tumbleweeds 4-H Club! We received our name because we did not have a regular place to meet, so by drifting around, we became the Tumbleweeds. Texas 4-H proudly boasts being the largest youth development program in Texas. Members "learn by doing" as leaders provide rewarding and fun experiences. 4-H is open to youth ages 5-18. Ages 5-7 are considered “Clover kids”. The Texas 4-H program is hosted through Texas A&M University and is part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas A&M System.
Our club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm. In addition to monthly club meetings, our club offers project meetings, which are primarily located in the N. Dallas/ Richardson/ Garland/ Wylie area.

Depending on what your child is interested in learning, they can join as many project meetings as they would like. Projects can also be done independently at home. In addition, 4-H offers several contests and competitions for kids ages 8+ to test out what they've learned.
